To celebrate Cooper's birthday, we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. I haven't been there for years, and neither had Pete, but the kids had a blast! We had only planned on staying for about an hour and a half, but when we got in the car, four hours had passed! The kids have asked several times if we can go back, so I have a feeling we will hit it again a few times before the year is up.
We let Cooper open his presents before we went, and he loved it. He even tore into a few of them himself!

Annie is a great driver, but I don't think she's ready for the open road.
Noah didn't get off this helicopter the whole night.

Everyone got really tired near the end.

What a loot! Your kids are so darling. Mike and I just love Chuck E. Cheese! We've been there 3 times just here in Milwaukee.
On the loot picture, Cooper looks like the happy kid on the box! He's so cute. Too bad he didn't like the cake. Maybe chocolate next time? Looks like everyone had a great time! Happy Birthday Cooper!!!
kaden HATED his 1st birthday- everything about it...even when i tried to get him to destroy the cake (also elmo) he hated being messy and wouldn't eat a bite. also i'm sorry you have that ball popper thing- it could be the most annoying toy created :) but the kids do like it...so i guess it's ok.
Oh, sad when the birthday boy doesn't like his cake! :(
