Project 365, Week 19

Day 126, May 6
This is the city of Cochem, Germany.  It is the city next to Ernst, where we stayed over the weekend.   We decided not to visit the castle this time, because we are planning to take our families this summer.  Isn't it beautiful?

Day 127, May 7
Fun with yoga in Boot Camp!  We made these guys do some crazy things....

Day 128, May 8
My neighbor, Tera, found a nest in her garage with a not-so-alive bird in it.  She asked Pete to get rid of it, and when he did he found two little eggs nestled inside.

Day 129, May 9
A fantastic workout in Boot Camp.  This is one of my favorite weight workouts.

Day 130, May 10
Kid's glow toys are fun.

Day 131, May 11
Coconut water is a sure sign that Summer is on it's way here in Germany.  I love this stuff.

Day 132, May 12
Self-portrait.  Aren't we cute?

Project 365, Week 18

Day 119, April 29
Look at those big brown eyes.
They almost distract you from the gum in her hair.

FYI:  Peanut butter gets gum out of hair.

Day 120, april 30
We now officially have five bike riders in the family.

Day 121, May 1
Sleepy boy with his daddy's glasses on.  This boy has the best eye lashes.

Day 122, May 2
I got home late tonight, so I jumped out of my car, turned around and took a picture.  I really do like our street.

Day 123, May 3
Our stairs are kind of dizzying.....

Day 124, May 4
Noah took a field trip today to a Schmetterling haus (butterfly house) and came home with this magnifier.  He was so excited to use it that he made me kill a fly so he could examine it.

Day 125, May 5
Today was the day of our Strongman Run.  I didn't take any pictures of that, but my friend Sarah did, and I will post those later.  I did however, take a few pictures of the fun little apartment we stayed in.  This was our living room.

Project 365, Week 17

Day 113, April 22
My friend Jody's daughter, Ella, was baptized today.  This is a picture of her along with her good friend, Sadiya.

Day 114, April 23
This is what happens when you give an iPod to a four-year-old while he is eating Pringles.

Day 115, April 24
For Valentines Day, Pete gave me this amazing little pan that fits a single egg in it.  It has been perfect for my at-home McMuffins in the morning.

Day 116, April 25
Volunteer Appreciation Day.
This was the only picture I took.

Day 117, April 26
These are my friends, Angie and Sarah.  The two of them are best friends, and each are moving soon.  I completely understand leaving your best friend.  It sucks big time.

Day 118, April 27
Brittany and Michael are together again, and this makes me uber-happy.

Day 118, April 28
This is Ella.  She is the daughter of one of the assistants at the clinic.  She was in the hospital for 14 days with an infection in her brain, but was able to get up and play.  We took the kids to visit her for a few hours and this was my favorite picture that day.

Project 365, Week 16

Day 106, April 15
Annie has the hair color that I have to pay a stylist to put in my hair.

Day 107, April 16
Original self-portrait, done by Annie.  In chalk.

Day 108, April 17
This sign says that the city of Mantel, which I drive through every day, is turning 800 years old this year.
800 years old.
You won't find that in the states.

Day 109, April 18
My current reads.

Day 110, April 19
I went to bed around 11 and then realized I hadn't taken a picture.  So I walked downstairs, turned the light on and took a picture of the first thing I saw - some training videos.

Day 111, April 20
One of these things is not like the others.....

Day 112, April 21
It was my friend Tera's birthday, so we headed to Nurenberg to see The Hunger Games.  This is a really bad shot, but I wanted to remember how small the theater was.
Yes, it was THAT small.

Project 365, Week 15

Day 99, April 8
Easter Sunday.
Eggs.
Enough said.

DAY 100!!!! April 9
I made it 100 days!
This is at the Prague Easter Market.  I love Prague and I have been many times, but this was a first for the kids.  We had a great time.

Day 101, April 10
These girls call themselves the Sucker Club.
They're so silly.

Day 102, April 11
These little guys showed up in a package my mom sent the kids.  I  kinda like them.

Day 103, April 12
That's 10:50 p.m., for you non-military or non-European people out there.

Day 104, April 13
I have a feeling she will be picking up this hobby....

Day 105, April 14
This is my babysitter, Hallie.  She is graduating this year and leaving for college (which makes me very sad).  We went out for some pictures today, and I had a blast spending a few hours with her.

Brittany and Michael Together Again

Last year around this same time, I took pictures of my friend Brittany, and her husband Michael, just before he deployed to Afghanistan.  Well, I was lucky enough to be there when he came home as well to take pictures of the moment.

The waiting was killing her.

Love.
