We bundled everyone up today for the first snow day. It actually snowed a few days ago, but we finally got out! The snow was covered with a layer of ice, so there were no snow balls- only sliding down the hills on bellies!

Blessings from Heaven

Cooper was blessed this past Sunday, by his wonderful dad. It was a beautiful blessing, and Cooper looked so handsome in his blessing outfit, which happened to be too big. In his blessing, Pete said that Cooper had defied all the odds, defied all the doctors to be here, so we know that he has a specific purpose here on earth. He was blessed with patience; patience with his parents and his siblings. He was blessed with the power of discernment, to know right from wrong. He was also blessed to find the love of his life and take her to the temple.

That evening we had a small get together at our apartment, and shared the celebration with another family. Our friends Carolyn and Jeff blessed their baby Tommy the same day. Tommy and Cooper were born 6 days apart. The boys wore the same blessing outfit, although Tommy had a cute little bow-tie on!
