Project 365, Week 11

Day 71, March 11
For some reason Noah couldn't figure out why his shirt wouldn't come off...

 Day 72, March 12
I ordered a new jacket about two weeks ago and it finally came.  I live in this thing now.

 Day 73, March 13
Cooper insisted that I come and see his bowl of cereal, because it made the number 3.

 Day 74, March 14
It was late.
Pete's cap was on the table.
There ya go.

 Day 75, March 15
"Green" smoothie.
Ingredients for this one: spinach, blueberries, strawberries, banana and yogurt.

 Day 76, March 16
Pete got on the trampoline today with the neighborhood kids and totally wore them out.  I picked this picture because of Annie's flying ninja move.

 Day 77, March 17
We had a big St. Patrick's Day event at the gym today, which included a fun run around the track for the kids.  Noah thought this was the best way to warm up, and Cooper attempted to join in.

Project 365, Week 10

Day 64, March 4
While in Tenerife, we attended Church (in Spanish) and then headed downtown for some sight seeing.  I kept seeing this sign as we got closer to the beach and it made me laugh every time.  Seriously, I'm wondering if they just roll those people stuck in wheelchairs out to sea and let them fend for themselves.

 Day 65, March 5
We took an amazing hike today, and a boat ride that dropped us off at a black sand beach.  Hard to tell that it really is black sand, but it was amazingly cool.

 Day 66, March 6
My beautiful friend Jody got a flower from one of the knights at our medieval dinner.  I think her husband Jared was trying to eat it.

 Day 67, March 7
Another amazing hike up a dormant volcano.  We weren't equipped for a big hike, so we only went about half way up.  But it was high enough to get above the clouds.

 Day 68, March 8
My dinner still had eyes....

 Day 69, March 9
I only took a few pictures today at the beach.
It was hard to find one that didn't have nude people in it.
This is Pete's awesome water bottle, and we took pictures of it all over the island to send in to the website (it's how they promote the water bottle).

 Day 70, March 10
Our trip came to an end this day, but it wasn't uneventful.  After we got stuck in a stau (traffic jam) we decided to take a detour and ended up getting lost.  It was at this point- when the GPS told us to get on a boat- that we turned around.

Project 365, Week 9 PLUS ONE DAY!

Well, not plus one day... but we got a leap day this week!

Day 57, February 26
My kids don't draw on walls.  With the exception of one incidence involving Cooper and a  dry erase marker, my kids have avoided this all-too-common occurrence.  However, Annie realized that if she colored a sheet of paper completely black and then used a pencil over it, the effect was pretty cool.  What she didn't realize was that it would go through to the next surface, which  in this case, was the wall.

Day 58, February 27
It's Military Homecoming Season again!
This is my neighbor Jenn, her husband Matt (who arrived about 10 minutes before this was taken), and their son Jack.

Day 59, February 28
Tiny pan or giant egg?

Day 60, February 29
LEAP DAY!
I celebrated by trying on my new snowboarding goggles and helmet.

Day 61, March 1
This is the first picture of Dr. Pepper this go around, however it won't be the last....

Day 62, March 2
Emoticon French fries.

Day 63, March 3
The first day in Paradise.  We took a trip to Tenerife, which is one of five islands in the Canaries.  This is the apartment complex we stayed at.  More pictures to come...
