Our hotel was right across the street from the North Sea in the Netherlands. It took us less than five minutes to walk there. The kids had never been to a beach before, and they were ecstatic to find sea shells.
We were there just as the tide came in, and it was fun for them to see the spot where we had been standing two minutes earlier being covered by water.
Oh.... and it was a little cold.....
