Fun With Alyssa: Zugspitze

My cousin Alyssa came for the month of July, just to hang out with me.  She has a job that allows her the summer off, so I convinced her to come visit me.  She was here for about two days before we headed to Garmisch to see the sights.
We went up to the top of the Zugspitze, the highest point in Germany.  The first stop was nice and sunny...

Then we hopped on the cable car to get to the very top...

And it was very cloudy and snowy.

We decided to get some of their awesomely massive hot chocolate.

Once we got down to the bottom, we walked over to the Eibsee, the lake at the bottom of the mountain.  When we got there, we realized how cheap it would be to rent a paddle boat, so we grabbed one.

Annie really wanted to paddle...

After about 35 minutes of our 60 minute ride, the rain started.  And it wasn't a light rain.  We were all soaked.
Well, everyone except for Annie.  She got to wear her dad's waterproof jacket.

E.T.?
