Prague, Day 2

I just really thought this building was cool. The detail in it was amazing.

The Astronomical Clock. This thing is really old and really cool. The hands confuse me to no end, but it makes sense to everyone else. We happened to be there when the hour struck, and got to see the 12 apostles parading by in open doors.

The Tyn Church. This was a very Gothic looking church, and I was stoked to take pictures, however when we went in the doors, the sign said it was closed and would re-open later, and that we couldn't take pictures inside. Bummer.

We ran into a jewelry shop specializing in diamonds. The doors were double paned glass with diamonds inside. It was so bright, and so amazing.

St. Nicholas Church, not to be confused with the church of St. Nicolas, from the earlier post.

Beautiful inside. Again, it was really cold. None of these churches have been restored to have heating.

A random piece of artwork in the middle of the city. This whole thing was made from keys.

We were so hesitant giving our camera to someone to take a picture of us. This city is full of crime, and we decided we had to find someone that couldn't outrun Pete, should they decide to run off with my camera. We finally found someone.

This was the only restaurant we ate in. It was yummy.

We were exhausted by the end of this day, so we strolled down to the river and hung out for a while, and were greeted by 20+ swans. In the setting sun. It was awesome.

We came across this barrel, equipped with a hole for a tap and everything.

The Dancing House.

Americans call this the Dancing House because it has been said to look like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astair dancing.

We took a break and headed back out for night time pictures. Here is the Dancing House again.

These were the meals we had the first night in Prague, and we both liked them so much, we ordered them again on the last night.

Pete had salty pancakes (crepes) with salmon and apples in a cream sauce.

I had turkey steak with baked cheese and cranberries, with au gratin potatoes.
