Waldsassen and Flossenburg

We took Sam to see Waldsassen Monastery mostly because I wanted to eat at the restaurant there one more time.  We didn't get to eat there, but it was still worth the trip.  When we were done there, we drove down the street and went shopping at the thrift shop.  It was a blast.  I purchased some German decorative plates and the most amazing ugly sweater on the planet.

After Waldsassen we drove to Flossenburg.  There was too much snow for us to climb the castle ruins, so we were content to walk the grounds of the concentration camp.
